We are seeking dedicated individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who will contribute to a culture of growth & community within our adult substance abuse recovery programs/centers, as well as our youth awareness and prevention programs.
The qualified individual must have or be working towards a group fitness or personal trainer certificate from an accredited training organization. Must also have a current AED/CPR certificate. We also ask the qualified candidate to have a minimum of
6-months of continuous sobriety.
All of our Revive Coaches have to earn our client's trust, as well as be able to personally speak and identify with our clients regarding the struggles of recovery from addiction, and/or having had experienced it first hand or from someone in their family. We service addiction recovery programs, so this component is vital and required.
Title: Group Fitness Instructor
Qualifications: Individuals in this position must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level. Especially having empathy for those struggling with substance abuse. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Candidates must be available to passionately coach afternoon & evening classes.
Must have a valid driver's license and have their own vehicle, a large vehicle is suggested by not mandatory.
Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor Certification from one of the nationally accredited training organizations (NASM, ASFA, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, ACSM, etc.)
Candidates must have 1-2 years of group fitness coaching or personal training experience.
Able to coach & adapt effective and well-run group fitness class with between 8-12 clients at once, as well as follow the Revive Coaching Manual and “Guiding Principles, and most importantly, our partner's client/staff policies & procedures.
Hours: 2-4 classes per week (60 min classes) to start
Compensation:
$30-40 a class - based on experience & qualifications this rate may be higher
Gas reimbursement
Incentivized bonus for executing excellent service and certification advancement
Bonus for securing new adult and youth treatment program partnerships
Location: We currently service the Worcester County area of Massachusetts. However, we have programs across Central Massachusetts, and in Manchester, NH. We are also looking to expand across multiple states.
