Revive of the USA, Inc. is growing and seeking to expand the diversity of our coaching staff. We are seeking dedicated individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who will contribute to a culture of growth & community within our substance abuse recovery programs/centers (adult & youth), as well as our youth awareness and prevention programs in and around the Central Massachusetts region.
We are seeking a part-time Revive Fitness Coach. Must have or be working towards group fitness or personal trainer certification at minimum. Must also have a current AED/CPR certificate. We also ask the candidates have at least 6 months-1 year of continuous sobriety, this allows the coach to earn our clients trust, as well as being able to personally speak and identify with our clients regarding the struggles of recovery from addiction, or having had experienced it first hand from someone in their family. We service addiction recovery programs, so this component is vital and required.
Candidates must be willing to coach evening & early afternoon Saturday classes and training sessions, as well as to grow and initiate and secure new program partnerships for additional income opportunities.
Hours: 3-4 classes per week
Compensation: $20-$35 per hour (based off experience & qualifications)
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level. Especially having empathy for those struggling with substance abuse. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor Certification from one of the national accredited training organizations. (NASM, ASFA, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, ACSM, etc...)
Candidates must have 1-2 years of group fitness coaching OR personal training experience
Able to Coach effective and well-run group fitness classes, as well as follow Revive Coaching and our client’s policy and procedures.
